Where can I find my LATAM flight at Miami Airport?

My friend is flying to Latin America for the first time, specifically to Argentina via Miami. She asked me to find some details because she’s confused. She booked a ticket with LATAM, but now she’s asking where she should look for her flight at MIA. I don't fly internationally often, so I can't explain how everything works. Has anyone flown LATAM from Miami before? Do you know which terminal they’re in and how to get there without getting lost?

One more thing: She’s wondering how early she should arrive for an international flight and whether it’s better to check in online or at the LATAM counter. A first international flight is always stressful, so we want to figure everything out ahead of time to ensure a smooth trip.

But don't worry; everything is straightforward. I fly to Argentina regularly, and LATAM via Miami has been my standard route for years. MIA is basically tailored for Latin American destinations. At Miami International Airport (MIA), look for the North Terminal, Concourse D - that’s where LATAM operates most of its flights to South America. As for check-in, do it online in advance and either print your boarding pass or save it on your phone. It'll save you a ton of time at the airport. For an international flight, it’s best to arrive three hours early for customs, baggage, etc. Is your friend flying to Argentina for the first time for a specific reason, or just for a trip?
